They’re Under Starters Orders…

StickHead is an Atari ST gaming nut and has been one ever since he received his Atari ST one Christmas morn. His ST has sat alongside a Super Nintendo, Playstation, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast and four XBoxes (thanks Microsoft) and has outlasted them all and never played second fiddle. Join him and his little beige beauty on a nostalgic romp through a wondrously diverse gaming back-catalogue.

Only number 5 in the top 10, then I am excited to see what the top 4 are. This game was such amazing fun, hours and hours of it. The whirlwind was always my most hated obstacle, cause you’d be way out in front and then whirlwind would get you, crashing your car into the side, and then proceed to hover just over where you were being re spawned, crashing you again and again, or at least until the computer drone could be caught! But you’d just put another credit in and start again. Two player was great fun too.

I really liked your demonstration of how the glitch works, that made me really laugh.

Not until I played Mario Kart Double Dash on the Game Cube have I played a racing game that has come anywhere close to rivalling the fun, enjoyment and ability to make time disappear as Super Sprint has, love it. That maybe something to do with who you play the game with though.

The whirlwind seemed almost sentient, didn’t it? Always popping up at the worst possible moment! Do you prefer Double Dash to the other iterations of Mario Kart? Ooh, controversial! ;)
